The EU promises to save nuclear deal with Iran

The EU, Britain, France and Germany discussed and agreed on joint actions to save the nuclear deal with Iran, said a European high representative for foreign Affairs and security policy Federica Mogherini after talks with Iranian foreign Minister Javad Zarif.

Mogherini said that the two sides negotiated exclusively practical measures to support the agreement, and not ugaranteed conservation agreement: “…can’t talk about legal or economic safeguards, but can talk about serious, determined, direct the work of the EU”, writes Reuters.

According to her, the European side recalled its dedication to the continued, full and effective implementation of the nuclear deal with Iran, which was unanimously approved by the UN security Council resolution No. 2231 as a key element of the global architecture of nuclear non-proliferation.
