It was the 21st minute when referee Gilberto Castro Jr. scored a penalty kick for Saljiro after Guilherme Paraíba of Retro fouled João Victor inside the area. In the set, Odilávio kicked and defended goalkeeper Jan – on the kick as well as on the rebound.

At the same time, the referee whistled the goal again and scored the second penalty kick, because Odilávio – who missed the kick – had been brought down inside the area.

In the fumble, he still gave defender Guilherme Paraíba a red card, but withdrew the penalty and only applied the yellow card after watching the show again on VAR. However, the penalty was conserved… and there was still a yellow card for the Everton goalkeeper, from Salguero, for a complaint.

In the 29th minute, after a delay while the referee was monitoring the performances in the VAR, midfielder Anderson Recife took over and converted the penalty kick to Salguero – leveling the score 1 to 1. They will face Sport in the final of Pernambuco.
