The impact of Coldplay is not just a series of hit songs. And at Rock in Rio, this Saturday, September 10, it won’t be any different. The British engage the audience in a wonderful visual spectacle. At Cidade do Rock, in addition to the bracelets that change color according to the performance, which will be distributed to fans, the world stage of rock in Rio has undergone changes.
The sides of the main stage of the festival received decorative fabrics to match the desired lighting effect. The walkway edges are reinforced with 32 reflectors and four light cannons.

Distributed to audiences already entering Rock City, the device works through technology called Xylobands. The system consists of software installed on a computer and a waveform transmitter box, which triggers the sequence of colors requested by the software.
– I was thrilled just to receive the bracelet at the entrance and imagine how everything would light up. I was looking forward to it and didn’t imagine they’d be able to make such an impact from performances here at Rock in Rio—says Tarsila Giriya, 27, of Recife.
– We were expecting they would come up with the idea of the bracelet, but since it was a festival, we knew it was going to be difficult. I was happy to win. It will be beautiful and it will be the best rock show in Rio – says Leila Elian, from Belém.
