One of the most mentioned problems by users should be fixed with the new functionality. Find out what WhatsApp will bring
One of the most mentioned problems by WhatsApp users is the quality of the images that are shared through the app. But the brand belonging to the Meta group should soon solve this problem.
That’s because WhatsApp is working on a new feature that allows people to choose to keep or lower the quality of photos when they’re sent. At the moment, the novelty is being developed, but an update will arrive soon.
WhatsApp tool already has a release date?
WhatsApp released a beta version of this manual functionality, but since the programming was still in image compression, it ended up not working. From the preview, you can see that the function will have its own button next to the function to crop the image at the moment it is captured.
This tool, which has no release date yet, has been in development by the company for quite some time. On the other hand, there are ways to ensure the quality of the images through the application itself through configuration. So, you have to follow some steps.
How do I use it now?
On the main WhatsApp screen, tap on the three dots in the top corner, then go to Settings.
Then go to data storage and select the “Image Quality” option – it is located at the bottom of the screen. Then choose the “High Quality” function. This function is available for both android how much iOS.
Another recent novelty for a messaging app that includes photos is the option to send them to be viewed only once, as is the case with Instagram Direct.
Before, anyone who watched it could take a screenshot by printing or recording a video. But after the latest update, WhatsApp has increased the rigidity on this function and removed any possibility for the person who receives the photo or video to store the file.
