The compact sedan should be more refined, technical and offer more passenger space, all this to reach the level of the new Honda City, its direct competitor. It is worth noting that the current Thai yaris are the same as those sold in Brazil. Here, however, there is still no indication of the release of the new generation.

Technical details of the model are still speculation. In the engine, for example, rumor has it that the model will retain the current 1.2 92 hp (available in the Thai market), which will undergo changes to improve its numbers, as well as a future hybrid option.
The new Yaris will likely be built on the DNGA platform intended for low-cost models, and is expected to have a wheelbase 2.55 meters longer than the current model.
Although teasing, the images are quite revealing and show that, once again, like City on Honda, the Yaris will be inspired by Toyota’s more expensive models. At the front, the grille indicates Corolla and Camry, as well as Lexus sedans, with a grille of unassuming size. The horizontal slats come from Toyota sedans and the headlights are all-LED.
The lanterns will also change drastically and become more intense, with LED lighting. Again, the recipe appears to be the same as the contender.
The interior looks clean and simple, with a large, smooth center surface and a few buttons on the console. At the top, the “floating” multimedia center appears by about 10 inches. The steering wheel is new, as is the instrument panel, which seems to remain with an analog dial.
