The robbers flee Minas and are deported by the United States

The brothers who fled to the US in 2017 were arrested in Everett, Massachusetts, deported and collected by the PF when they landed in Confines this Friday (22).

The two robber brothers (23) were arrested by the Federal Police at the Tancredo Neves International Airport in Confines on Friday (23) after disembarking from the plane from the United States. Both criminals, who were wanted by international police for robbery and extortion, were arrested and extradited to the United States.

According to the PF note, the fugitives, Davide and James Lino-Ribero, aged 28 and 38, left Brazil in July 2017. In a statement issued by the Federal Police in this regard, “Both of them were involved in several robberies using motorcycles and guns. In one of the brothers’ actions, in 2014, they killed a youth for stealing a cell phone. The robbery took place at a petrol station. The post office was closed and the passer-by was approached. Davide received the longest sentence because he was considered a teacher for shooting a teenager who refused to hand over his cell phone.

“Another 32-year-old Brazilian, who arrived on the same flight as the deportees from the United States, was arrested, pursuant to an arrest warrant issued by the 2nd Criminal Court of the Mandena District for the crime. On Brazilian territory, the three were arrested and, after undergoing forensic examination, were taken to the Nelson Hungary prison, where they will face justice” PF concludes.

The deported Brazilians were arrested and subjected to forensic examination. They were taken to Nelson Hungary Prison and are in the custody of the Department of Justice.
