The United States defeated Panama (5-1) and consolidated its position in practice in the Qatar Cup-2022

With a Christian Tolstoy hat-trick, the United States beat Panama 5-1 on Sunday as Qatar took a giant step towards the 2022 World Cup, while the Central American team was eliminated from the fight for a place.

With this win in Orlando (Florida), the United States is second in the Congo qualifiers with 25 points and one round, while Panama is fifth with 18 points and has no chance of qualifying for the World Cup.

Two penalty kicks in the 17th and 45th minutes were converted by Chelsea striker Pulisic, who scored another goal in the 65th minute. Paul Ariola Jesus Ferreira scored 23 for the United States and 27, while Anibal Kodoi scored 86 for Panama in the final (86).

With this defeat in Orlando (Florida), the United States is second in the Concacaf qualifying round with 25 points and almost one of three live places in Concacaf’s pocket.

Greg Berholder’s team must avoid a catastrophic defeat (6-0 defeat) to qualify for the final round against Costa Rica in San Jose.

The big surprise in the qualifying round was Leaders Canada (28 points), who qualified first this Sunday, while Mexico are currently third with 25 points.

Costa Rica, with 22 points, finished fourth, competing against a selection from Oceania.

Panama, on the other hand, are fifth with 18 points and have no chance of reaching the playoffs.

The United States, even more shocked by missing out on the 2018 World Cup in Russia, had the best night to qualify this Sunday against a weakened Panama.

“Our goal is always categorization. We took a big step, but at the end of the day, we have a game ahead of us,” Tyler Adams warned.

“We went in very seriously and took some early chances, which set the tone for the game,” said defender Walker Zimmerman.

The game was in favor of the local team with the first goal of the Pulitzer Prize, which was converted by Michael Murillo in the face of a penalty kick by Zimmerman.

Shortly afterwards, Paul Ariola, at 1.70m, climbed higher than the Panamanian defenders and deflected the ball with his head at an angle.

With no time for the Panamanian reaction, Colombian-born young forward Jesús Ferreira took advantage of a resurgence in the opponent’s area to win 3-0.

Panama were completely knocked out with a fourth U.S. goal, and Pulic scored again after another penalty by Godoy on Miles Robinson.

The American, Pulisic, completed the hat-trick this time with a brilliant goal, in which he corrected a ball between Andres Andrews’ legs and an unstoppable cross from Louis Mejia to control the area.

In the middle of the celebration at the Explora Stadium, Anibal Kodoi scored for Panama with a right-footed free-kick cross from Eric Davis.
