The Democratic governor is already accused of sexual harassment by two women and unwanted advances against him by a third.
CNN has reached out to Liss for comment.
In his first public remarks on the scandal, Cuomo said: “I have not touched anyone inappropriately. I have not touched anyone inappropriately.” “I didn’t know at the time that I was making anyone feel uncomfortable. I didn’t know at the time that I was making anyone feel uncomfortable.”
Cuomo said during his Wednesday appearance that he was learning from his behavior.
“I understand that the sensitivities have changed, that behavior has changed, and I understand that. I will learn from it,” he said.
Liss served as a policy and operations assistant for Cuomo from 2013 to 2015, according to the magazine.
Not at first she thought Cuomo’s behavior was a “harmless flirt,” but she did start to regard it as a “caring,” according to the magazine.
“It’s not appropriate, really, anywhere,” she told the newspaper.
One such incident occurred when he was not working at a reception at the Executive Mansion in Albany, New York, on May 6, 2014, according to the newspaper.
Lis said, “He came straight to me and was like,” Hey, baby! “
“The governor hugged her and kissed her on the cheeks, then wrapped his arm around her lower back and grabbed her waist,” she told the newspaper.
The photo shown by the magazine shows Como’s hand around Lisse’s waist.
Responding to Lees’ allegations, Rich Azobardi, a senior adviser to Como, told CNN in a statement: “Journalists and photographers have covered the ruling for 14 years watching him kiss men and women and pose for photos. Pictures. This is what people do in politics. ”
Less said she did not file a formal complaint about the governor’s conduct, but that she later requested that she be moved to another office. Less said the trial led her to seek mental health advice in 2014, according to the newspaper.
She was the second woman to make sexual harassment allegations against Cuomo. Lindsay Boylan, a former assistant to the governor, claimed that in 2018 Cuomo kissed her on the lips after a one-on-one briefing in his New York City office.
Another woman, Anna Roche, told The Times – in an account confirmed by a CNN friend – that Cuomo had approached her unwantedly during a crowded wedding in New York City in 2019.
The request requests that all documents relating to the allegations of sexual harassment against Cuomo be preserved.
