“We don’t expect that to happen, we certainly understand that they have a permanent seat on the UN Security Council,” White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki told a news conference.
The spokeswoman added that President Joe Biden “has made it clear that he does not intend to send US forces to war with Russia.”
