Deux élus péquistes prennent du galon

Having demonstrated rigor and seriousness within the party in recent months, the elected pq members Joël Arseneau and Méganne Perry Mélançon take the border to the parliamentary session which begins.

Mr. Arseneau, member of the Îles-de-la-Madeleine, will be in charge of questioning the government Legault about the French language, a subject quite central to the Parti québécois. Ms. Perry Mélançon, member of parliament for Gaspé, inherits it in the folder of culture and communications.

The French language, culture and communications formerly undertaken by Harold Lebel, member of parliament for Rimouski, who is also the whip, and caucus chair.
