United States v Wales: Result and technical paper

In an unprecedented fight at the World Cup, USA and Wales were tied 1-1, this Monday (21), in a valid battle for Group B of the World Cup in Qatar. Weah scored the goals of the match for the Americans, still in the first half, and Bale, from the penalty spot, equalized in the closing stages.

With this both teams are below England. He made his debut by defeating Iran in the World Cup.

The best

midfield Christian Pulisic, the Englishman currently defending Chelsea, was named man of the match. The American goalkeeper dictated the pace of the match from the first half, with good plays and a pass for Vea’s goal in the opening 35′.

McKenney, from the United States, drew attention to her hairstyle in the colors of her country’s flag. But football was far from what was expected. To finish, the American picked up a yellow card and was substituted.

USA and Wales “miss” World Cup, notably, the Welsh, who had not played in Sweden since 1958. During that time, Wales reached the quarter-finals and were knocked out by Brazil.

The Americans were eliminated from the last World Cup in Russia. The last appearance was in Brazil in 2014 when they were eliminated in the Round of 16 against Belgium.
