The number of approved projects is subject to availability of resources and funding and may vary 5 thousand to 20 thousand dollars.
The project submission process will be divided into three phases. Sending the first online questionnaire. Second, virtual interview and proposal presentation. In the third place, the complete set of grant request documents will be sent.
The proposals should promote policy approaches in matters of mutual interest to both countries such as US values, shared norms and democratic institutions, transparency, accountability, diversity, social content and human rights. The opening of public announcements for projects in Brazil is coordinated by the US Embassy and Consulates.
All proposals must have a US-related element or affiliation with an American expert (s), organization (s) or organization (s) in a particular field. Diversity, equity, content and accessibility (DEIA) are topics that are important to the US government both internally and externally.
