What is the plan of the prisoner who killed Jeffrey Dahmer?

Directed by Ryan Murphy and starring Evan Peters, The True crime series Dahmer: American Cannibal (Netflix) has made the serial killer who gives the production his name back into the media spotlight.

Jeffrey Dahmer murdered 17 men and teens in the United States between 1978 and 1991. The ages of the victims ranged from 14 to 32 and most of them were people on the fringes of society: LGBTQIA+, men are black, Asian, or indigenous and have low purchasing power.

He was arrested in 1991 and sentenced to 17 life sentences. Three years later, on November 28, 1994, he was beaten to death by Christopher Scarver, another inmate at the Columbia Maximum Security Correctional Facility.

But, after all, what was the plan of the person responsible for Dahmer’s death?

Disgusting habit and orchestrated death

In 2015, Christopher Scarver, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia He explained to the New York Post that Jeffrey Dahmer used to slice up severed ends with food, using ketchup as fake blood to annoy other prisoners.

The prisoner, who started, said: “He put these things in places where others could see them. He crossed the line with some people: prisoners and prison staff. Some people lamented in prison, but he wasn’t one of them.” Observe Dahmer and search for their crimes.

On the morning of November 28, 1994, Dahmer, Scarver and another inmate, Jesse Anderson, left their cells for work. His seriousness was to confront the serial killer.

When the three roads parted, Scarver followed Dahmer toward the locker room and used a metal bar to confront him with his crimes.

“I asked him if he really committed the crimes, because I was disgusted. He was shocked. He tried to find a way out, but I blocked him,” Scarver told the New York Post. “He ended up dead,” he added.

At about 8:30 a.m., Dahmer was found on the bathroom floor with head injuries. He was taken to the hospital, still alive, but was pronounced dead hours later, as shown in the Netflix mini-series.

Anderson was also beaten by Scarver with the same iron rod, and died two days later.

After attacking the two men, Scarver returns to his cell and informs the guards that “Jeffrey Dahmer and Jesse Anderson are dead because God commanded him to do so.”

The killer was sentenced to life imprisonment for the crimes.
