Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro: battery and charging up to 120W revealed in a rumor

In a new post published this weekend, Digital Chat Station provided more information about the battery capacity and charging power of the new Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro.
According to the link, the two leading vehicles should Support for wireless charging up to 50 watts. In addition, both should also have a USB-C port in the 3.2 standard.

While the standard model should charge at 90W, the Xiaomi 14 Pro should reach 120W of power. Which is a big improvement compared to the previous generation which supported 67W and 90W respectively.

The Xiaomi 14 line is in an advanced stage of development, and a new leak released on Monday shows that the devices have already received internal code names.
According to the folks over at Xiaomiui, the Xiaomi 14 is internally known as “Houji”, while the Xiaomi 14 Pro is called “Shennong”. In addition, the manufacturer is also Chinese Testing started with MIUI 15 for devices.
The information is in the interface development code and also shows that the program is still in a very early stage. However, MIUI 15 is based on the new Android 14.
The Xiaomi 14’s model numbers are identified as follows: 23127PN0CC and 23127PN0CG. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 Pro carries the numbering: 23116PN5BC and 23116PN5BG.
Some details revealed by the folks working at Xiaomi suggest that the two smartphones should be announced with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets. It should run on variants of up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
Other relevant details include a 1.5K AMOLED display at 120Hz, a Leica-certified main camera and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging.
Finally, the Chinese launch of the Xiaomi 14 line should take place between November and December, and on the global market it will only be officially announced in January 2024.
