Xiaomi Smart Band 8 includes a 1.62-inch screen with 600 nits of maximum brightness, compared to 500 nits in the Xiaomi Smart Band 7, a model launched in May 2022. The screen has an AMOLED panel, with a resolution of 490 x 192 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 hz.

The smart bracelet comes with a heart rate reader, a sleep monitor, and a battery that promises up to 16 days of autonomy, but that can drop to just six days if the Always On Display mode is on. In it, the screen is always active and displays important information. According to the specialized site PhoneArenaIt can withstand up to 50 meters underwater.
Xiaomi Smart Band 8 can monitor up to 150 different sports due to the different sensors in it. The Chinese giant has not released the full list of compatible sports. There has been great progress, the predecessor Xiaomi Smart Band 7 can keep up in 120 ways.
