It is currently not known who is behind the attacks and who can be targeted, but it is likely that the vulnerability is counted as part of a very targeted attack.
With the latest update, Apple has so far corrected seven zero days that have been abused in the real world attacks from the beginning of the year: CVE-2025-24085, CVE-2025-31200, CVE-2025-31200, CVE-2025-31220, and CVE-2025-43200.
Last month, the company also released a Safari component with an open source (CV-2025-6558) vulnerability correction, which reported Google that the Chrome web browser was exhausted as zero day.
