Clemson Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney shared his thoughts on the hiring of James Franklin as Virginia Tech's new head coach.
This week, the Virginia Tech hired James Franklin as their new head football coach after leaving Penn State for his first season.That has sparked much debate about how much of a deal he was with the Hokies, given his strong coaching credentials thanks to his stints at Vanderbilt and the Nitan Lions.
After the big ten-second start to pass, he will face some of the strongest opponents in the game.This includes former Mobile Clemson, Dabo Swinney Penn State, and the Tigers' season has not been as successful as previous campaigns.
Although the team doesn't always live up to expectations, Swinney remains the coach of the program.When the Tigers and Hokies season ended, he shared his thoughts on Franklin's position at Virginia Tech.

"I've known James for a long time and had a close relationship with him. He's like Frankler and his wife.
"He's become successful. I know people - he doesn't have a chance to rent
Franklin has a 3-7 home record and a 2-4 ACC record.However, he led Penn State to the football championship last season and to the Big Ten Tournament in 2016.
According to Efn, he will get the first word to coach the Hokies in Sountain at Wednesday's high-level meeting.Then it will make its own ascent on Saturday when it rains out of the ACMs, and ends the regular season with a battle against Virginia.
Meanwhile, Swinney's Tigers are 5-5 and looking at a potential bowl game appearance.They wrap up their season with a home game against Furman on Saturday, then on Saturday, Nov.The Palmetto Bowl game against South Carolina follows on the 29th.
Undoubtedly, Swinney has a lot of respect for Franklin in Virginia Tech, before a possible game between their ACC teams in the coming season.
