Paris Saint-Germain opened the basement to try to catch Mbappe. According to the newspaper “Le Parisien”, the club made a new proposal to renew the contract with the striker with very high numbers: Annual salary of 50 million euros (about 287 million R$) and a cash payment of 100 million euros (573 million R$).

In the proposal, the new bond lasts until June 2024. On this date, a clause is expected allowing Mbappe to negotiate his departure. Paris Saint-Germain also promised to release the striker for the 2024 Olympics, which will be held in Paris – this is a desire that the athlete has already expressed.
Mbappe’s current contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires in June 2022. The striker can now sign a free pre-contract with another team, and the European press has been referring to Real Madrid as the player’s favorite. However, PSG still did not give up trying to renew with the youngster.
Real Madrid is still confident in signing
According to the newspaper “AS”, the Real Madrid board of directors remains calm about the inclusion of Mbappe. The club remains confident that it will be possible to reach an agreement with the athlete.
Featured in the win over Saint-Etienne last weekend, Mbappe is the second-best scorer in PSG history with 156 goals. He is in second place after Cavani, who scored 200 goals.
