People all over the world are booking Airbnb’s stays in Ukraine, even without the intention of going. Since last week, tens of thousands have already used the fastest way to get cash donations to the Eastern European country, which was affected by the war with Russia. Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky said 61,402 nights were booked on the platform in 48 hours, for a total of $1.9 million. More than half of that, about 34,000 nights, was paid for by users in the US, followed by the UK (8000) and Canada (3,000). However, the rest came from a variety of countries.
