2 min readSergio Perez was fastest in the third free practice session of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix Formula 1. The Mexican driver finished his run at 1:43:170 by defeating Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and his Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen at Baku Urban Circuit.
The last pre-qualifying practice started 15 minutes late due to an accident earlier in Formula 2 that ended up damaging the track. Thus, the accident will also delay the practice that will determine the starting grid.

Max Verstappen is still trying to improve his time, but he couldn’t find space on the track.
Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz was in the top three glues. Then came the McLarens: Lando Norris finished fifth with the fastest time and Daniel Ricciardo was sixth.
