Funeral guard found dead in the barracks

18-year-old goalkeeper participated in Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral Today’s Daily Mail reports that she was found dead in a London barracks.

Police and paramedics were called to Hyde Park Barracks in Knightsbridge on Wednesday. The building is close to Buckingham Palace, precisely so that soldiers can respond to emergencies for the royal family.

According to the Daily Mail, an alarm went off at 3:48pm. Jack’s death was announced as soon as the authorities arrived, who do not treat the case as a “suspect” – the cause of death has not been confirmed.

A police statement read: “The death was unexpected, it was investigated and was not treated as a suspect. The officers will assist in preparing the forensic report.”

On the day of the Queen’s funeral, the soldier’s family released video footage of soldiers from the local Mounted Regiment at the ceremony, saying the young man was “performing his duty to the Queen on her last voyage”.

During the funeral procession on September 19, soldiers from the cavalry followed King Charles and members of the royal family, including Prince William and Prince Harry, walking behind the Queen’s coffin.
