The attack comes a day after the explosion of the only bridge linking Russia to Ukraine’s Crimea. So far, no one has claimed responsibility for the damage to the strategic path of the Russians.

According to the Associated Press, the missiles that hit Zaporizhia during the night damaged at least 20 homes and 50 apartment buildings. At least 40 people have also been hospitalized.
The explosions also partially destroyed the building. The Ukrainian military confirmed the attack, citing dozens of deaths.
