The Coast Guard began a search of an area of 1,250 square miles. The drowning occurred on Saturday morning.
“We searched an area roughly the size of Rhode Island and are grateful to have found these missing fishermen.”according to MLive, Lt. Commander Kevin Keefe, Coast Guard Sector Search and Rescue Mission Coordinator in New Orleans.
There were two men They were taken to hospital with injuries caused by shark attacks. Someone also showed signs hypothermia. All three are now in stable condition.
