Password split rules

Of the four plans, an account can only be shared in two of them: Duo and Family, and only between people who live in the same place.

according to Company Terms of Use: “Your username and password are for your personal use only and must be kept confidential. You understand that you are responsible for all uses (including any unauthorized use) of your username and password.”

Spotify isn’t clear on how it applies this. However, the rule is clear: account splitting is allowed in specific, paid situations.

Can Spotify charge someone who splits the account?

So far, there is no indication that Spotify plans to change anything in their terms of use.
