The Elder Scrolls 6 may be the final chapter in the series directed by Todd Howard
2 min readOn the sidelines of last Sunday’s Starfield show, during the dedicated show, Bethesda’s Todd Howard also had the opportunity to talk about Sheikh manuscripts 6which, according to him, is likely to be The final chapter of the series he will direct.
Howard spoke candidly about it to the IGN.com mics, starting with an inescapable fact: Many years have passed Between the releases of the various chapters of the main series, not just Bethesda.
Timing is the key to Howard’s rhetoric, as Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6 has been supported for years after release and he certainly hasn’t gotten any younger. Howard: “So the availability, as we’ve discussed, to support Starfield … Whereas in the past you might have released it and done a sequel, now we can support this game for a much longer period, and that’s what we have in stock.”
And so, looking at Elder Scrolls 6, this is a case of… I probably shouldn’t say that. MBut if you do the math, I’m not getting any younger. How long have people been playing The Elder Scrolls? sA poem that will be the last thing I do. I don’t know. “
Will Howard continue to direct The Elder Scrolls 7? Only time will tell. In the meantime, we await Chapter 6, as well as the Starfield that precedes it, and Fallout 5 that will follow.
Only Starfield will be able to play starting September 6, 2023 on PC and Xbox Series X/S. It will also play immediately on your Xbox Game Pass subscription.
