Rodrigo Varanda returns to training in Corinthians, but he can still be traded | Corinthians
2 min readAlmost a month later, striker Rodrigo Varanda is back in training at Corinthians this week. However, the player did not go to the field, he only worked within CT Joaquim Grava and it is still possible to negotiate with the club.
Rodrigo Varanda has stopped training at Corinthians due to the possibility of a move to Bragantino. The clubs had advanced talks, the striker even had a medical examination at the club inside, but the negotiations ended without injury.
Even at Timão, the 18-year-old could still be traded in this transfer window.
People close to Varanda say other clubs have expressed interest in his appointment. Corinth is still waiting for the proposals to be formalized.

In financial difficulties, Timão needs to negotiate with the players and sees Varanda as having good sales potential.
The balcony was not used by technician Sylvino, who had been in charge for three months. The last time he took the field was on April 25, against Santos, by Paulistau, when Wagner Mancini was still captain of Alfinegro.
Bragantino will pay about $2.5 million (13 million Brazilian reais) to purchase 70% of the economic rights. Corinthians will keep 20%, and the rest (10%) will be up to the player.
At the end of last month, Rodrigo Varanda renewed his contract with Corinthians. The bond that expired on January 31, 2022, is extended to January 31, 2024.
Varanda jumped straight from the Under-17 category to the pro, missed the training stages, and played in 10 games this year. In the first nine, he was a key player, having scored a goal, in the derby against Palmeiras.
Although his talent is praised, the player is raising suspicions in the coaching staff and in Corinthians’ board of directors due to his off-field behaviour. He recently became embroiled in controversy by scolding a fan during a live broadcast on social media.
