Brazil reports 176 COVID-19 deaths in 24 hours; Moving average below 400 after 11 months

Brazil has recorded 176 deaths from the virus COVID-19 Over the past 24 hours, according to data collected by the Press Vehicle Association, which includes condition. In the country, the total number of victims of the novel coronavirus reached 601,442 on Tuesday, 12.

The weekly moving average, which removes distortions between weekdays and weekends, continues to fall at 367. It is the lowest average in exactly 11 months, when Brazil recorded 365 deaths on November 12, 2020.

The number of notifications of new cases of the disease within 24 hours reached 7,151, bringing the country to a mark of 21,588,245 cases of the disease since the beginning of the pandemic.

The balance of the Ministry of Health, in turn, indicates 7,359 new cases and 185 other deaths from the Covid-19 virus during the past 24 hours. In total, according to the volume, there are 21,590,097 infected and 601,398 deaths. The numbers differ from those collected by the Media Consortium primarily due to the time of data collection.

Daily data is collected by the Federation of Press Vehicles which consists of condition, G1, Oh Globo, Extra, Fulha and UOL, in partnership with 27 state health departments, in a credit issued at 8:00 p.m.

The Balance of Deaths and Cases is the result of a partnership between the six media outlets that, since June 8, 2020, have been working in a collaborative way to collect the necessary information in 26 states and the Federal District.
