Brothers accused of robbery flee Minas, extradited by US - Radio Itadia

Two brothers who escaped from Minas Gerais justices were arrested by the federal police of Minas Gerais this Friday (23), in Confins. Internationally wanted prisoners for robbery and extortion were detained in the United States and deported.

The fugitives, now aged 32 and 38, left Brazil in July 2017. The pair were detained on US soil by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), pursuant to an arrest warrant pursuant to Interpol’s international search warrants. Court of the District of Mantena in Minas.

The brothers were sentenced to 36 years and more than six years respectively.

In a statement issued by the Federal Police in this regard, “Both of them were involved in several robberies using motorcycles and guns. In an act of brothers, they killed the teenager for stealing the cell phone”. The year in which the offenses were recorded was not recorded.

Another 32-year-old man who was on the same flight as the brothers, who were deported from the United States, was arrested on an arrest warrant issued by the 2nd Criminal Court of Montana County for theft.

The three extradited Brazilians were arrested and subjected to forensic tests. They were taken to Nelson Hungary Prison and are in the custody of the Department of Justice.
