Corinthians remained sixth in the Brazilian Championship, even after faltering and Only tie with América-MG at Neo Química Arena. With 30 points, Sylvinho continues in the G6 ranking area ahead of the Libertadores, after the end of Round 21 of the tournament.
Even with sixth place confirmed, Corinthians saw some rivals approaching the Brazil table. Internacional and Fluminense now have 29 points, Cuiaba with 28 and Atlético Paranaense with 27 points, are close to Alvengra. It should be noted that the southern teams have one game less than Timao See the full classification below.
In another round, Corinthians missed the opportunity to join G4. If they win, Timão will be just one point behind Fortaleza and Red Bull Bragantino, who are fourth and fifth in Brazil. Atletico MG continues to be the captain, followed by Palmeiras and Flamengo.
Corinthians’ next match will take place on Saturday, when Sylvinho’s team welcome Palmeiras, at the New Coimica Arena, at 7pm (GMT). The contender is the second-placed in Brazil, with 38 points, beating Chapecoense in the last round 2-0.
