Creed III actor Jonathan Majors arrested for assault and harassment
2 min readLast Saturday March 25th Jonathan Majorswho starred in both “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” and “Creed III,” went to court after being arrested for sexual harassment and battery against an unnamed 30-year-old woman.
The actor was arrested in New York, in the United States, after the New York Police Department (NYPD) received a report about an apartment in Manhattan.
Apparently, the victim would be his girlfriend who filed the complaint the day after the event. Complaints were submitted by the victim through two written statements.
Details of the complaint and assault
According to the account provided to the NYPD, the assault occurred after an argument with the actor, during which he choked, assaulted, and harassed the victim. She was taken to hospital after the complaint and several minor injuries were found at the scene.
The NYPD notes that the victim had cuts to the back of his ear, as well as bruises and marks on his face. Despite the accident, the victim’s condition is stable.
The charges against Majors indicated that he slapped the victim’s face, causing a laceration in her ear, and pulled her by the hands and neck, causing the marks to appear.
Jonathan Majors Defense
The actor’s lawyers denied the accusations against him, saying that the actor was innocent, and also noted:
“We look forward to clearing his name and clarifying the situation,” he added.
Priya Chaudhary, a lawyer defending the actor, said his driver was present during the situation and would help prove Jonathan Majors’ innocence during the process.
The actor was arrested in the same place. However, this past Saturday, the 25th, when he appeared in court to hear the charges against him, Majors was released without having to post bail.
