Topping the list of the top 10 questions is “How long is strep contagious?” According to experts, the contagiousness of strep throat depends on whether antibiotics are being taken. If antibiotics are being used, the contagiousness typically ends within 1-2 days. However, without antibiotics, strep throat can remain contagious for weeks.

The second most-searched question is “How contagious is strep throat?” Experts explain that strep throat is highly contagious, particularly in the early stages of infection. It can be spread through secretions, droplets, and even through the air when someone coughs or sneezes.

The third question on the list is “How can I lower cholesterol?” Experts suggest adopting a low glycemic index, anti-inflammatory diet and exercising regularly to help lower cholesterol levels. They recommend incorporating anti-inflammatory fats, leafy vegetables, and protein from poultry, fish, and eggs into one’s diet. Additionally, strength training and cardio exercises are advised.

Addressing the issue of bloating, the fourth question asks “What helps with bloating?” Experts recommend following a low FODMAP diet, which avoids foods that are hard to digest. Thoroughly chewing food, avoiding carbonated drinks, and managing stress are also suggested to alleviate bloating.

The seventh question pertains to feeling nauseous. Experts state that nausea can be caused by various factors such as alcohol consumption, motion sickness, pregnancy, gastrointestinal distress, and emotional distress. They highlight that nausea can be a potential indicator of imbalances or disorders within the body.

The eighth question focuses on the causes of preeclampsia, a condition that occurs during pregnancy and is characterized by high blood pressure and elevated protein in urine. Experts explain that issues with the placenta, which can disrupt blood flow and increase blood pressure, are the primary cause of preeclampsia.

Experts recommend consulting with sleep specialists for guidance on how to manage snoring.
