Flamengo consults again with Allan, Atlético-MG is waiting for an official offer to appear

Mineiro Club does not rule out negotiating with the player, but it will not facilitate a potential negotiation

Flamengo have held a new consultation with Atlético-MG to find out the terms of a possible deal for midfielder Allan. Talks, however, still haven’t made progress, eg Goal. The search for the athlete is a request from coach Jorge Sampaoli, with whom he worked between 2020 and 2021 in the Minas Gerais team.

GOAL discovered that the Rubro-Negro team made direct contact with Galo management, without involving the player’s staff. With a contract at Cidade do Galo until December 31, 2025, Allan had already received an appointment from Flamengo at the start of the season, in February this year. But at the time, the miners ruled out letting go of the wheel. Recently, the Sports Council has engaged athletes’ representatives with the aim of renewing the bond, and even granting a salary increase. Negotiations have not yet made progress.

In addition to Flamengo, Palmeiras has recently shown interest in hiring Allan. Paulistas indicated a proposal of 11 million euros (59 million Brazilian reals in current prices) for the athlete, back in March this year. However, Atlético-MG requested €15 million (R$80.35 million) at the time to negotiate. The miners’ demand was deemed too high, and Verdau pulled out of the deal.

Gallo does not specify a value for opening potential negotiations, but he promises not to facilitate, especially since he is a direct competitor in Brazilian football. The mining club is waiting for an official offer to officially show itself. Allan Atlético cost €3.5m from Liverpool in January 2020.

Alan has not been on the field since last March 15, when he suffered a stress fracture in his spine. The midfielder must still return to the field. In the current season, he has participated in eight matches for Atlético MG, totaling 579 minutes on the field.
