Gilson Ricardo, Rio de Janeiro sports radio icon, dies

Announcer Gilson Ricardo passed away today (22), at the age of 74, as a result of a Heart attack withers. Radio Tubi confirmed the death during a live broadcast as well as on social networks.

• Gilsão, as he was known, has worked at Rádio Tupi since 2015 presenting Bola em Jogo. He even participated in the Sunday edition of the show before he suffered a heart attack.
• Born in Petropolis (RJ), the broadcaster has worked for 35 years at Rádio Globo, as well as being part of radio and television stations.
• He was a big fan of Flamengo.

After his death was announced, Gilson received many tributes from fellow former professionals and also from Rubro-negro.
