Wagner Mancini, the current coach of Club America-MG, is one of those quoted to take over Gremio. In the place of Filipau. Also found GiveThe Grêmio Council has interviewed the position names, but has not yet set a target in the market.
Mancini is one of the professionals on the Grêmio board’s agenda. However, the conversations were much more than investigation bias, with no suggestion made so far.
Other names, such as Roger Machado and Manu Menezes, were also analyzed. Both are free on the market, but they have already stated that they are not interested in taking over any club at the moment.
Grêmio’s new coach is expected to be official on Thursday at the latest. In touch with the report from GiveManagement says it will not comment on any name.

Wagner Mancini has been at Corinthians since last year. He left the position in May, after being eliminated from the semi-finals of the Campeonato Paulista by Palmeiras. The coach faced pressure at the Sao Paulo club for a poor start to the 2021 season.
In June, he was appointed by América-MG with a contract until the end of the Brazilian Championship. Coach Coelho has led in 20 matches so far with seven wins, nine draws and four defeats, with a success rate of 50 percent.
The coach is in Porto Alegre for the America-MG match on Wednesday against Inter, at 9:30 pm, in Beira Rio, for the 26th round of Nacional.
