IDF admits terrorist photo mismatch was human error

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have issued a clarification statement regarding an erroneous collage of terrorists that was captured at Shifa Hospital in Gaza. The collage, which was circulating on social media, mistakenly included a photo of Hamas chief of operations Raad Saad who had not yet been captured by the IDF.
Despite claims circulating on social media about psychological warfare tactics being employed by the IDF, the military has attributed the error to human error and has denied any intentional misinformation.
The high-ranking terrorists captured at Shifa Hospital have yet to be officially identified by the IDF, but the operation marked the largest group of terrorists captured since the beginning of the war. Approximately 150 terrorists were eliminated in the area surrounding the hospital, with hundreds of suspects being arrested.
During the operation, the IDF located weapons and terrorist infrastructure in the area, further underscoring the significant threat posed by these groups. Additionally, operatives of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad surrendered to the IDF and were subsequently transferred to the Shin Bet for further investigation.
The IDF continues to carry out operations in Gaza in an effort to eliminate terrorist threats and maintain security in the region. The capture of high-ranking terrorists at Shifa Hospital is just one example of the military’s ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and protect Israeli citizens.
