Rodrigo America, 43, wants to travel to Mars. The way he found to achieve this audacious goal was to have the name of Elon Musk, the richest man in the world and enthusiast of colonizing the neighboring planet, painted on his forehead.

Born and raised in the Venda Nova region of Belo Horizonte, Rodrigo says he wants to “leave Earth” because he believes in life on other planets. My first vision [contato com alienígenas] It was 4 in 2016 when I worked in a prison. I heard and saw members outside in front of me telling me to seek knowledge,” says the influencer who became famous after participating in Mansao Marumba, at the invitation of Torogo, in São Paulo.

In 2020, he had another “vision”, but this time it was just lights in the sky. “There is footage from that day,” he said. He said he would appear to them “when the time comes”.

Mars

These contacts made Rodrigo decide that he wanted to be one of the volunteers for the Mars colonization project, which was being promoted by Elon Musk.

With that in mind, he tattooed the billionaire’s name on his forehead on Oct. 28. He hopes to attract the attention of the richest man in the world, and who knows, maybe he will get an invitation to meet him. If given the chance, Musk would be available to do the interplanetary mission.

“I’m sure I’ll be the first Brazilian to volunteer to go to Mars. I want to be the first. I know it’s a one-way trip. But I’m 43, my daughter’s already grown up, I’ve lived what I should have lived here on Earth,” Rodrigo says. firmly.

Even international newspapers were looking for the man from Minas Gerais after news of the unusual tattoo spread on social networks. This is the vision he was hoping for. He commented, “I think I will.”
