Nelson Williams Advocates closes partnership with US law firm

Fernando Cavalcanti, vice president of Nelson Willian Advogados, this week discussed the details of the strategic partnership being celebrated between the two Brazilian companies with Sami Arap, a partner in the Arap Nishi & Uyeda office in New York – USA. Investment and financing activities for infrastructure projects in Brazil, corporate transactions and M&A, tax-tax planning, investigations and compliance, strategic conflicts and complex deals. The partnership will utilize the capillary and experience of both offices.

Fernando Cavalcondi believes the partnership is fundamental, with the financial tools currently limited to large corporations to transform the sources of funding for Brazilian companies.

Sami Arab expressed his satisfaction at establishing a cooperation agreement aimed at exploring the specialties of the offices for the benefit of clients in Brazil and abroad. Sami Arab lives in New York, where he works with the prestigious Fox Horan & Camerini office.

While in New York, Fernando Cavalcondi and Sami Arab met with David Cameron, partner of Fox Horan & Cameron. Sami will be a liaison to effectively and effectively advise small, medium and large Brazilian clients in various sectors across the US and other continents.
