Ferdao’s board had already tried to strike a deal with the Colombian at the start of the 2021 season. The 24-year-old midfielder was one of the names approved by Apple Ferreira’s technical committee, but there was no agreement on that occasion.
After negotiations, Atoista agreed to renew his contract with the American club Los Angeles, until the end of 2022. And revealed by Independiente Medellin, the Colombian has been active in North American football since 2018.
He defended his country’s national team in the qualifiers for the Tokyo Olympics, which was held in August of last year.

Focusing on the market, Palmeiras’ board of directors pays attention to South American players. The club understands that the negotiation model with Matías Fina and Joaquín Pequerez has been successful, technical and financial revenue.
In addition to Atuesta, Verdão evaluates names from other countries on the continent. It has already been speculated that Uruguayans Giovanni Gonzalez and Agustin Alvarez, of Peñarol, are targets for Palmeiras residents for 2022.
