Southampton rejects Lyanco’s loan to Vasco and only accepts the sale

Southampton, from England, turned down a loan offer from Vasco Lianco, as a player Goal. The offer was 1 million euros (5.22 million Brazilian reals) and also included the purchase of 10% of the economic rights of the defender.
The Brits are not willing to part with the 26-year-old defender in the transfer window and have warned the Brazilians that they will only negotiate for the sale of the athlete. The English spent 7 million pounds (42.8 million Brazilian riyals) to buy the athlete, in August 2021, and they want a similar amount to release him.
With passages through the core divisions of Botafogo and Sao Paulo, the defender has a contract with Southampton until June 30, 2025. He has not yet indicated the situation with Cruzmaltino, but a return to Brazil is not ruled out.
Vasco is looking for at least two defenders in the transfer window. The club wants to hire new players for the team led by Mauricio Barbieri. The board draws on the contribution of 777 partners in the search for reinforcements.
