Just a few months ago, on April 18, a jackpot-winning ticket was sold in Syracuse, New York, offering a cash option of $10.5 million. Amazingly, this win occurred just four days after another gigantic jackpot worth $483 million was claimed in New York.
The sheer number of lucky winners is astonishing. In the past three months alone, over 26.4 million tickets have won various non-jackpot prizes. It seems that Lady Luck has been favoring Mega Millions players recently.
