The next generation Chevrolet S10 is taking shape in the US
2 min readThe future generation of the Chevrolet S10 pickup is starting to emerge in the United States. Recently, the US website GM Commission, specializing in unofficial news from the automaker, released photos of the new Chevy Colorado and GMC Canyon, which hit the market in 2023 line. Canyon offers cornerstep bumpers, which facilitate access to the bucket.
GM has not commented on the future generation of the Chevrolet S10, but professionals believe there will be more closeness between the models coming from Brazil and the US. Brazilian designer Kleber Silva has already created a plan of what the new generation of S10 will look like based on the look of the Chevrolet Silverado.
According to the GM Commission, based on their spy photos, “each cornerstep bumper is integrated one step into the corners of the rear bumper, which has a hard pad for extra grip.” The U.S. website says there is an ergonomic grip on the box rail guards for easy entry and exit.
For the North American market, in addition to exterior and interior design changes, the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado and 2023 GMC Canyon will standardize a new 4-cylinder 2.7 turbo petrol engine. This engine is rated at 310 hp and 583 Nm of torque. The operating system used is GMT31XX, but has been updated.
