The CDC clarified on its website that “people can choose respirators such as the N95s and KN95s, including to eliminate concerns about supply shortages for the N95s”. Citizens should wear the protective mask they can, it fits well and you will continue to wear it, ”he said.
“While all masks and respirators provide some protection, properly fitted respirators provide the highest level of protection,” the CDC said.
Covid-19 cases are on the rise in the United States and more and more Americans are opting for higher quality protection.
The United States on Monday recorded 1.35 million new corona virus infections, breaking the world record for daily cases in any country. According to the CDC, the Ômicron variant is estimated to be responsible for 98.3% of all new cases in circulation in the country.
