Presentation at Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas celebrating the 50th anniversary of the operator and its relationship with the Cariocas

On the night of December 4th, the skies of Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas will host a drone show to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Unimed-Rio. The event is unprecedented in the city and will celebrate samba, beach and bohemian, which are the unmistakable symbols of Cariocas. The show is free and takes place at 8 pm near Corte do Cantagalo.

On this occasion, 80 drones will draw images representing icons of the capital of Rio de Janeiro in a presentation that should last about 10 minutes. According to the organization, the best place to view the show would be near the deck.

“We wanted to give the city something new and memorable. The idea is to celebrate our anniversary by celebrating Rio de Janeiro,” says Mauro Madruga, Supervisor of Unimed-Rio. According to him, one of the sources of inspiration for holding this event was the opening of the Tokyo Olympics, where a show of the same style delighted spectators.

“Unimed-Rio reaches 50 on Dec. 8. The company is one of Cariocas’s favorites, and Unimed-Rio Hospital, an operator reference, is one of the most remembered hospitals in the city. In half a century of operations, Unimed – Rio is reinventing itself.” To continue to provide the high-quality care for which it has become its biggest brand. These are the reasons why history does not go unnoticed”, emphasizes Mauro.
