Video: A bear invades his home and frightens residents of the United States | world

A bear broke into a home in North Carolina, United States, and had an unexpected encounter with a resident who was in the garage. The situation took place last Tuesday (11), in North Asheville, and was recorded on a security camera – Watch the video above.

In the video, David Oppenheimer is shown reading in a chaise longue seconds before he notices the bear’s entrance. Startled by the animal’s presence a few feet away, Oppenheimer remained motionless until the animal left the garage.

The camera also recorded other recordings of the bear, which had run through the house hours earlier. One moment he runs through the empty garage, the next he appears over a balcony railing.

Oppenheimer told ABC he passed away in North Asheville 15 years ago, and noted more bear sightings in the area. He said animals are usually calm, but he admits he was surprised.

“It sure scared me,” he said, “because he was more unexpected than a bear. And he looked scared, too.”
