it’s the end! There is no longer a 0 km car in Brazil for less than 60 thousand Brazilian riyals
2 min readWhat was expected actually happened: It’s the end of the 0km run in Brazil for less than R$60,000. Renault raised prices for the 2023 Kwid, and even after lowering the IPI, the minimum payment for a new car in our country is R$61,090 – the new entry price for Renault Kwid Zen. How far will the prices go?
The cheaper (or less expensive) version has suffered the most from the higher prices. The jump of R$2000 from the previous table made Kwid break the R$60,000 barrier. Now the R$61,090 is the cheapest car in Brazil even though. As the price of the Fiat Mobi Like is R$61,990.
Moving on to the Intensive version, the entry-level Renault costs R$65,190. The increase was R$1,000, exactly the same as the Outsider’s best-in-the-line variant suffered. The most expensive Kwid, in this case, now costs R$68,690. In other words, the little French guy is getting dangerously close to the R$70,000 range.
It should be noted that all versions of the cheapest car in Brazil are equipped with a three-cylinder 1.0 SCe engine with 71 hp and 10 kgf of torque with a start-up system to save fuel. Five-speed manual transmission on all versions. It is worth noting that Renault will soon offer the electric version of the Kwid in Brazil.
