Can you imagine being in Curitiba and bumping into Elvis Presley’s widow? Well, the extraordinary story happened to a family from Criciúma in the south of Santa Catarina on Friday (21) while visiting Opéra do Aram in the capital of Paraná.

Elaine Villaca told ND+ that she was touring Curitiba with her daughters Carolina Villaca and Issa Villaca, ages 14 and 12, when she met Priscilla Presley, widow of singer and eternal king of rock and roll, Elvis Presley.

According to Ellen, her eldest daughter Priscilla admitted inside Wire operaIt is a theatrical symbol of the city of Curitiba and is considered the Valley of Music.

“When we left (the stage), Carolina asked to take a picture of the nameplate. We posed for her to take the picture. When my other daughter went to take the picture, she (Carolina) looked at me and said, ‘Mom, it’s Priscilla Presley.'”

According to Ellen, the singer’s widow was wearing a black mask that covered her face up to the eye area. “How are we going to find Priscilla Presley in Curitiba? It makes no sense,” said the girls’ mother.

After confirming that she was indeed Elvis Presley’s widow, the three of them wasted no time and went to take a picture with Priscilla. “She was accompanied by someone who spoke Portuguese, and it was her son. She has a son from a Brazilian who lives in Curitiba. I didn’t know.”

Elaine also reported that the widow was amazed that a 14-year-old girl recognized her. “My daughter has a huge passion for music, a lot of love. She used to say to me, ‘Mom, you’re the closest person to Elvis Presley alive.’ He was very important to us.”
