This Tuesday (14/09), Simon and Simaria made a private appearance at Encontro com Fátima Bernardes, an attraction on TV Globo.
During the live program, the entire production was surprised by the news about the tragic plane accident in Piracipada, within the city of São Paulo.
Simone Mendes revealed that many fans thought the two were on board, as the prefixes were similar – the one that fell was SM, and their S&S.
“I don’t know if the acronym behind us is SM, but on our plane it’s S&S, by Simone & Simaria. They were confused and started spreading the news that we were inside the plane,” colleague reported to presenter Fátima Bernardes.
Subsequently, Cimarea Mendes said the two had received calls from crying friends, thinking they were among the fall victims.
“We always say one thing: Whoever has an undying promise, we still have a lot to accomplish in Jesus name.”

Soon, the singer’s sister paid tribute and expressed her solidarity with the families of the victims.
Simon said: “We want to show our solidarity with the whole family who were on that plane. It must have been an unbearable grief.”
However, the older sister’s speech received a barrage of criticism on social media.
Check out the ramifications below:
Simaria, speaking at the meeting with Fatimah, said that some friends were worried about the possibility that the plane that crashed might be theirs, and said: “Everyone who has a promise does not die” … No idea with the relatives of the victims.
The believer must end for yesterday

for us. How unnecessary Simaria says who has an undying promise because 5 people on board have just died…

Simaria, when he said that friends were worried about the couple if they were on the plane that crashed in Piracicaba, said that those who make promises do not die. You have to be careful with your words and not sound nice to the victims and their families. #Meeting
