Air Force spokesman: China is ready to defend its sovereignty | Globalism

An air force spokesman said on Sunday that China would “resolutely protect its national sovereignty and territorial integrity”, referring to Taiwan, as tensions rise over the autonomous island.

State media quoted Air Force spokesman Shin Jinqi as saying at a military air show that the air force has many types of combat aircraft capable of flying “to the precious island of our motherland”.
