‘Images won’t open’: Twitter users reported unsettled Monday | technology

Twitter users reported problems accessing the social network on Monday afternoon (6). Photos and videos did not appear in the feed, links to shared articles did not open either.

According to DownDetector, which records complaints from people about sites and apps, complaints started around 1:47 p.m. and decreased by 3:00 p.m. The company’s support page tweeted, “It should be fine now. Thanks for staying with us!”

Previously, the same page stated: “Some parts of Twitter may not be working as expected at this time. We made an internal change that had some unintended consequences.”

“We’re working on it now and will share an update when it’s fixed.”
