2 min readOn Friday (8/10), the sky in Belo Horizonte is overcast, and the temperature has gradually increased during the day. This morning, 20 degrees Celsius was recorded. The capital reached a value higher than the maximum expected for the day, reaching 28.1 degrees Celsius. Despite this, the weather became cooler, and this afternoon the temperature dropped by 3 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity of the air has remained above 54%, according to the Climatempo website.
Regarding wind gusts in the last 24 hours, the stations of the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet) highlight the regions of Minas Gerais where the wind speed was above 60 km / h. Wind speed of 64.1 km / h was recorded in Sarcadinho, in the western region of Belo Horizonte. In Varginha, the record was 58 km / h, and in Juiz de Fora, 56.2 km / h.
According to Inmet, the minimum temperature recorded in the last few hours was in Monte Verde, reaching 9.5 degrees Celsius. And at the meteorological station in the capital’s Sercadinho, the thermometers were also lower, with a record of 16.2 degrees Celsius. In So Romo, the temperature was never higher than 36°C, recorded around 3pm. Regarding precipitation, Passa Quattro recorded 28.8 mm in the past 24 hours, and Juiz de Fora 26.4 mm.
In Montalvania, thermometers reached 37 degrees Celsius this afternoon, and the municipality has no chance of rain. The city, which has a maximum temperature of 39°C today, has a dry climate, and relative humidity can range between 15% and 46%. Yesterday, the humidity was 13%, according to Inmet, and cities like Mocambinho and Araua also recorded low humidity, at 15%.
